The Karnataka government is planning to set up an e-platform where state government and state PSU tenders can be placed as well as all the formalities thereof, additional chief secretary K.K. Mishra said on Tuesday. "We are meeting shortly to decide on the e-platform," Mishra told reporters on the sidelines of an e-governance summit, organised as part of Bangalore IT.Com here. He said Andhra Pradesh has already floated "enquiries" for such a platform and Karnataka has invited the state for a joint effort. " We are trying to find out whether the e-platform can be shared and utilised by more than one state government," Mishra said, adding that the proposed e-platform facility is "very large".
