Commerce One India, which is implementing e-procurement projects for the Andhra Pradesh Government announced that projects for two more departments, Panchayat Raj and Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, have been formally launched this week, by releasing the relevant tenders online. Vivek Agarwal, Chief Operating Officer and President of Commerce One India, said in a release that the company was working to implement the project for more departments, as there was a favorable response from the departments where e-procurement has gone live. Mr. Agarwal said the company planned to take this project (e-procurement) to other States after the successful implementation in key departments in Andhra Pradesh.
